Cat Rescued From Cage Finds Real Love
Luna spent 12 years in a rabbit cage, one of 50 cats trapped in a hoarderās home. By the time rescuers found her, she was frail and quiet, but ready for a second chance.
When Juliet met Luna at a shelter, she wasnāt planning to adopt. But the moment Luna meowed, she knew. Despite her broken teeth and years without affection, Luna trusted instantly, curling up in Julietās arms like sheād been waiting for her all along.
Within days, she was cuddling with Julietās other cat, Ollie, and curling up in her momās lap every night. Juliet calls Luna her āvelcro cat,ā never far from her side.
After everything sheās been through, Luna still leads with love, and sheās reminded her mom what that word truly means.

How to Help Stray Cats Stay Warm This Winter
When the temperatures drop, outdoor cats rely on a little human kindness to stay warm.
Start with shelter. A simple DIY setup made from plastic tubs, straw, and insulation can protect cats from freezing winds and snow. Skip blankets, which trap moisture, and keep entrances clear after storms.
Before driving, tap your car hood to check for cats hiding near the engine. And always avoid antifreeze or salt near feline hangouts. Lastly, keep their food and water accessible. Dry food wonāt freeze, and a heated bowl can prevent dehydration.
Even better, help by spaying or neutering. Healthier cats handle winter far better, and every act of care, no matter how small, can make a big difference.

Meet Cat of the Day, Sampson
Meet Sampson, though at home he answers to Sammy Sam, TrashCan Kitty, and of course, Sammy. He wandered into his familyās backyard on a freezing January night just before a blizzard and never left. (His humans still say he was probably chasing a snowflake and couldnāt find his way back!)
As a curious youngster, Sampson quickly earned his nickname by raiding cupboards and even devouring an entire box of donuts one night. Child locks soon followed. Heās since grown into a wise, almost 12-year-old gentleman: still cuddly, still opinionated, and still convinced that potato chips should always be shared.
