Did You Know?
Cats are sensitive to the _____ of their food.
(scroll to the bottom to find the answer!)

In Case You Missed It
As the end of the year approaches, itâs a good time to make sure your cat has the care they need for the next year and beyond.
The Nibbles credit card includes free pet insurance for one eligible cat, giving you peace of mind when those surprise vet visits pop up out of nowhere.

How To Tell If Your Cat Is Too Cold
Cats may be adaptable, but theyâre far from winter-proof. Their bodies run warmer than ours, and once temperatures fall below 45°F, many cats begin feeling the first signs of dangerous chill. Indoors, even a slightly drafty room can send them searching for a blanket or a warm lap.
A healthy adult cat with a thick coat might tolerate cooler weather better than others, but kittens, seniors, and hairless breeds feel the cold quickly. Wet fur or strong winds can speed up heat loss, making hypothermia a real risk long before freezing temperatures arrive.
If your cat curls tightly into a ball, shivers, or feels cold at the ears and paws, itâs time to warm things up. Blankets, heated beds used safely, and slightly warmed meals can help keep them comfortable. For outdoor or feral cats, simple shelters (like insulated bins or access to a garage) can mean the difference between coping and suffering.
When in doubt, remember the winter rule: If youâre cold, your cat is cold too.

Meet Cat of the Day, Finny
Meet Janaâs little showstopper, Finny, just 7 months old and growing faster by the day! Heâs still very much a kitten at heart, always ready to play, tumble, and flop over dramatically whenever attention is needed.
Heâs a food-lover through and through, never shy about enjoying his treats. And with his big blue eyes and friendly personality, he happily greets everyone who walks through the door, whether theyâre visiting him or just there to fix the cable.
A social butterfly, a playful sweetheart, and an up-and-coming cuddler⌠heâs stealing hearts one visitor at a time.

The âFreshâ Seafood Myth Youâve Probably Fallen For
A lot of people think frozen seafood is the backup plan â something you buy when you canât get it fresh. But hereâs the truth: when it comes to quality, frozen can actually be fresher than whatâs behind the grocery store counter.
Most âfreshâ fish has already been frozen for transport, and is then thawed for display (sometimes even thawed and refrozen many times!). By the time you see it on ice at the seafood counter, it may have been sitting there for days. Not exactly what you pictured when you thought âfresh,â right?
For fish thatâs truly fresh, âfrozenâ should be your go-to choice. Wild Alaskan Company freezes wild-caught seafood from Alaska just hours after harvest, locking in peak flavor, texture, and nutrients â perfectly preserved until youâre ready to cook.
Itâs not a shortcut. Itâs the smart way to enjoy top-quality seafood at its best.

Stray Cat Becomes Star Of Italian Restaurant
When staff arrived at Gambillâs Pastaria in Tulsa one morning, a small orange cat was already waiting at the door, as if reporting for his shift. The moment they approached him, he greeted them like old friends, earning the name Cheeto and the unofficial title of ârestaurant staff.â
For days, Cheeto lounged on the patio, rubbing on dinersâ legs and soaking up every bit of affection. He adored the attention, and guests adored him right back. But with the restaurant on a busy street, the team knew he needed more than a fan club.
Local TNR volunteers stepped in to search for an owner, but no one came forward. Luckily, two Tulsa locals, George and Derek, saw Cheetoâs story and immediately knew he belonged with them. Theyâd been hoping for a gentle companion for their cat, Qai, and Cheeto fit perfectly.
The two cats hit it off right away, and Cheeto now spends his days exactly how he likes: cozy, cuddled, and loved.
