A Mother Cat and Kitten Stay Together
Robin and her kitten Sparrow arrived at a shelter in Los Angeles together, already closely bonded. In foster care, it became clear how much Sparrow relied on her mom. Robin stayed attentive, guiding her kitten through everything from eating to play, while Sparrow followed her everywhere, learning by watching.
Their connection showed up in small moments. Robin would call to Sparrow with soft chirps, especially when it was time to nurse, and the two rarely strayed far from each other. Even as Sparrow grew more independent, she continued to check in with her mom, often returning for comfort or joining her for naps.
When a family applied to adopt Sparrow, they quickly learned about Robin. The decision changed. Instead of separating them, they chose to bring both home.
Now settled into their new space, Sparrow continues to mirror her momās behavior, staying close and learning as she grows. Their routine looks familiar, just in a different home.

How to Spend Motherās Day With Your Cat
Motherās Day doesnāt need big plans to feel meaningful. For many cat owners, the best version of the day is simple. A slow morning, a cozy space, and a cat nearby can set the tone for something calm and memorable.
Starting the day at home keeps things easy. Breakfast in bed or on the couch becomes more enjoyable when your cat joins in, whether theyāre curled up beside you or waiting for their own treat. Small moments like brushing their fur or sharing a quiet stretch can turn into a routine that feels intentional.
Adding a little activity can keep things interesting. A new toy, a short play session, or even a relaxed movie afternoon creates shared time without overcomplicating the day. For cats that enjoy it, a safe outdoor space like a patio or catio can offer something new to explore.
Ending the day with a quiet wind-down often feels the most natural. Cats tend to settle into the evening, making it the perfect time to slow down, relax, and enjoy the kind of companionship that doesnāt need much planning.

Meet Cat of the Day, Druzy
Meet Druzy, Leslieās elegant and endlessly entertaining girl.
Born on Valentineās Day, she carries herself like a true lady, often lounging with her front paws perfectly crossed like sheās wearing little white gloves. Her signature move is stretching out just far enough on the bed to stay one inch out of reach, paired with a ācome hitherā look that always gets results.
Druzy knows exactly what sheās doing, and she does it with style.
