Meet Ravi, the Cat Who Loves Too Much
Ravi isnāt just affectionateāheās extremely affectionate. The 8-year-old cat was surrendered to a Connecticut vet clinic for the most heartbreaking reason: his family found him too loving. Luckily, the staff saw his sweetness for what it was and contacted The Little Guild, a rescue that welcomed him with open arms.
At the shelter, Ravi quickly became a favorite. He adores people, snuggling into laps, following staff members like a tiny shadow, and even getting along with other cats. His only demand? Endless love and attention. Itās no surprise that heās captured so many heartsāover 100 people have applied to adopt him.
Ravi isnāt picky about his future home. As long as his adopter enjoys constant cuddles, heāll be the happiest cat in the world. And, with countless adoption applications plus a personality as loving as his, thereās no doubt Ravi will find the perfect forever home soon.
This sweet, snuggly boy has already won so many heartsānow itās just a matter of finding the one that will love him back just as much.

Adopting a Cat? These Questions Are Essential
Bringing home a shelter cat is an exciting decision, but how do you know if theyāre the right match? Asking these key questions can help you find the perfect feline companion.
What is the catās medical history: Check if theyāve been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV or FIV. Knowing their health status helps you prepare for any future care needs.
Does the cat have any litter box issues?: Some cats may have past accidents due to stress, medical conditions, or litter preferences. Itās good to know if adjustments may be needed.
Has the cat lived with other pets?: If you have other animals at home, itās important to know if the cat has experience with dogs, other cats, or prefers being the only pet.
What is the catās personality like?: Some cats are affectionate lap cats, while others are more independent. Shelters can give insight into their behavior.
How much grooming does the cat need?: Long-haired breeds require regular brushing, while short-haired cats tend to groom themselves.
What is the adoption fee and what does it include?: Fees vary and may cover vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgery.
What food is the cat currently eating?: Switching food too quickly can cause digestive issues. Ask what theyāve been eating to make a smooth transition.
By asking these questions, youāll be better prepared to welcome a shelter cat into your home and give them the love and care they deserve!
